I do not need the complexity, but it is good for those who want to jump on the band wagon.

...I mean, it's either that, or Shawn's video is just that bad... Guess I better watch it and find out haha.

Seriously though, I think Shawn tries to make videos for dumb people who just want mindless motorcycle entertainment, and he gets tens of millions of views for it.

I try to make videos for smart people who might want to learn or at least get a fresh perspective on something motorcycle related, and get tens of views for it

Truth be told I've talked to Shawn on the phone a few times, good guy, very encouraging, generous with his time. On YouTube I think he's smart enough to play dumb, whereas I'm dumb enough to play smart. Guess which video performs better?


Someone once told me, don't make videos for Mr. Spock. For every one Mr. Spock out there who wants rational, deliberate, concise, informative content, there are 10,000 Homer Simpsons. If you want views, make content for Homer Simpson.

Reports are that they're selling like moldy bread. They've been sitting on showroom floors too long and keeping inventory that doesn't move is money the dealership can't do anything with.
