Kawasaki ZRX1200?

Tall, not for the inseam-challenged.

Great bike.. retro styling, plenty of mods available , great online community (ZRXOA). You can tour on it, great for two up riding and yet still fun to be a hooligan on it. I had an 1100 and I still miss it.

At 6'1 & 215lbs I'm partially drawn to it because of the height/size.

This is my second season, I've owned a Virago 750 and now a VZ800 (both cruisers). I like the comfortable, upright riding position, although I wouldn't mind something that offered a little more satisfaction in the twisties. I'm not much of a hooligan on the streets, I like to take it easy and enjoy the ride - I wouldn't mind owning a bike that could handle some casual track duty, however.

I read somewhere that the ZRX had "ancient suspension" is that true?

A lot of guys I know who have Rexes are your size. Its a big bike and upgrading to ohlins is a common upgrade. Lots of guys track their bikes... Heck its a replica of a race replica of a race bike ridden by Eddie Lawson's bike after all.

RonnieRev should be along shortly he has a 12 with ohlins.

Ive never owned one or ridden one, but I love the rex's. Big bad muscle bike. Ive always wanted one...

I have a 2002 ZRX, I love the bike suits us older guys (56) just fine.

I dont find it tall, Im 5.8 and a quarter and it fits me good.

Fast enough I go a 10.80 on it, its good for the long haul I have done many
long rides on it (1000k day). I find it a good overall bike.

Looks good to

I like the carbs, but then again Im a little old school.

I find carbs easier to tune, something I can do myself with a screw driver and a 1/4 inch wrench.

This one runs low 9s, they just loved to be modded.

Its not always about the bike(or car), its about the person riding or driving it.

No kidding. I was referring to your butchery of the English language.
