Spent the day at snowcity riding around a bunch of kawasakis, my thoughts:
Rode the new kle500, on the road at least, it was far too vibey, like high frequency annoying kind of vibes. They were mostly under the seat and the footpegs, hands were mostly insulated
Finally got to ride the legendary KLR650, surprisingly liked it, it felt 'right', there was torque from the basement revs, and it had what I can describe as pleasant vibrations, could sit at 100-120 all day, wish it had a 6th gear though. It was a lowered version and the handling felt a bit weird...like it had been altered not in a good way.
I also rode the versys 1100, REALLY nice bike, comfortable, easy to ride, no real complaints, plenty of power at all revs, handles well, it makes a nice howl as you get on the gas, the passenger seat looked like a royal cushion
Spend part of the afternoon hanging out with the owners and eating hot dogs, good people all in all
