Will drop in today to see what the sales are like

Dropped by and spoke with several of the staff.
The employees were told yesterday that the business was closing.

The Honda bikes will be picked up by the manufacturer but Kawasaki
likely will be giving Kahuna an opportunity to sell their bikes so if your
interested in a Kawasaki now is your chance to negotiate aggressively.
Not much in the form of used bikes either.

As for accessories.....same stuff I saw there a month ago and at the same
prices as well....nothing special.
They had better prices in February.
There are much better deals to be had at GP Bikes.
You may want to wait .....or just make them an offer.

A friend of mine went by today and both 2013 ZX6R's in green are sold and with only the 2013 ZX6R in orange left (only speaking for ZX6R's and not any other models).

So the employees aren't being shifted to Ride? And most of the product?

I was told that Kahuna would operate for a few more weeks depending on how much stock is left for sale. Once the bikes and accessories are gone Kahuna will close.

With regard to the sister business Ride Motorcycles I was advised that they may try to keep it open however if it does continue it would not offer New Motorcycle Sales, but provide only Motorcycle Service and perhaps some Accessories Sales.
The majority of the employees will be looking for work.

Thanks. I see. I guess it's more of a motorcycle clearance than it is an accessories clearance, if they're likely keeping Ride open without the new bikes. Weather permitting, I guess I might try to check them out tomorrow.

they were the only 0ones giving away kawis....

WHO'S GONNA ENTERTAIN MY RECALL NOTICES NOW???

You might want to give it a few days as the discounts are nothing to brag about at this time.

Really? Did you guys even go there and check it out? Triumph clothing and accessories are 70% off. Bought leather pants and leather jacket for under $200 tax in. Ogio luggage half price, so $140 for a huge wheelie bag. "nothing to brag about" ? Oh, and Arai stuff is 25% off, Honda 2000 watt generators are $200 off ($1199). You can't always believe what you read on the forums.

:)

Sounds like you work there.
But hey, you can't always believe what you read online
