HJC Jorge Lorenzo Barcelona helmet 2013
Jorge Lorenzo has revealed the helmet design with which he will ride this weekend’s Catalan Grand Prix.


The pattern for this special Lorenzo Barcelona helmet was put together by down syndrome sufferer Anna Vives, a well-known personality in Catalunya who has invented her own font.

Is that good? What ever happened to modesty? I'd like to see one of these guys wear a plain white helmet. Maybe with a small tasteful sponsor logo. Maybe.

Modesty - is this a serious post?

It's all marketing $$$. Any man on the grid is a billboard, and he has no say in it for the most part. To the highest bidder he goes..

Semi-serious. It's over the top. And then joe sidewalk shmoe champions the corporations. It's a beautiful thing.
 
I actually think it looks pretty cool, like the connection with the local artist and the aspect of highlighting amazing abilities of people with down syndrome.

Unfortunately the sponsor logos (all except Monster) really don't fit in the design...
 
Sorry what? Quiet? His celebrations are always over the top. He's a copy cat. Nothing more.

His celebrations may not have been quiet, but his personality is introverted and introspective. You see it in every interview he's given, he doesn't have the mischief and playfulness that comes naturally to Rossi.

You get the sense that his celebrations were half copy-cat and the other half calculated to get under Rossi's skin. I think it worked...

Super-smooth racer though, very impressive on track.

I SPECIFICALLY said his celebrations are nothing but quiet, the same thing that Lightcycle said....now how would you like me to comment on JLo personality off the stage when i've never even met the guy? Have you met him? I reserve my judgement on who the man actually is and can only judge him on what he does, rides a motorcycle like an Alien and does grandiose showmanships that feel forced and staged to "one up" Rossi.

Jumping in the lake at Laguna? come on....

Even his leathers are a direct copy of Rossi unequal coloring scheme.
 
Nice helmet design. Unlike everything that has to do with Lorenzo I actually like this helmet. It is very different and has nice colors it looks awesome. Would see myself riding with this helmet.
It is not quite like the new Rossi turtle helmet though, which is typically a nice rossi helmet: ironic, funny, lots of colors and just funny. This is definitely going to be my next helmet

With Rossi at least it's comical and looks good. This I don't know what it's suppose to be.....looks like too messy and what's with the penis on top?:confused:
