Jevco Insurance regarding Kawasaki Ninja 250r

Hey guys/girls,

I recently got a quote from Jevco regarding my insurance. I told them that it was a sport bike but reading this thread

its not listed here. So what would it be considered? a street / touring ?

It would be greatly appreciated if someone were to help me out, just so I can get an accurate quote.

If you told them it was a Kawasaki ninja 250r and told them it was a sport bike, the quote that you got is most probably accurate.

Anything under 600cc is not surcharged with Jevco - whether its a sport, touring, cruising etc... So Jevco will probably be your best bet, or maybe TD.

Just got my renewal from Jevco in the mail today... I previously had a 50% surcharge due to a serious and minor conviction and my previous policy cost was approx. 1200. Now that the 50% surcharge is gone, I expected to see a close to 50% drop in my cost - unfortunately it came in at $915. I did some shopping around today and will probably go with TD MM for $761.

M2 since May 2010
2 years of full insurance
'08 ninja 250
1 mil liability
No comprehensive/collision coverage for either policy
