January over priced bike show bike purchase

Thank god I got my 2010 GSXR600 for $9600 OTD.... LOL

this is why i just figure out what I'm willing to pay OTD and offer that. let them decide how they want to divvy it up amongst their various fees and taxes. If one dealer won't bite, go to another. Or like in my case when I bought my 250, get ****** off that nobody wanted to deal in person, and accidentally CC instead of BCC a half dozen dealers telling them exactly what I wanted to pay, not a penny more. I had 4 replies in my inbox by 9:30 the next morning. Ended up getting exactly the price I wanted to pay.

Was it just me or was the bikes at this years bike show over priced??? I mean the cbr600rr hasn't changed since 07 and Honda still wants top dollar for the oldest style 600!

Then we look at the all new gsxr600 which was priced between $12800.00, and $13500.00
Now being in June, that same bike (gsxr600) the dealers are selling for a reduced price of $9995.00.
What gives ?!!!

So whoever purchased the 2011 gsxr600/750 before June got royaly screwed cause naw the gsxr's are , gsxr600 is $12200.00 out the
door...just add another $1000.00 for the Gsxr750

Oh and what about this charged called P. D. I. ? Y can't u just purchase the new bike with the crate un opened! I mean u don't go in and buy a toy from toysrus and they open it and inspect it for you, do they!
I understand freight as they need to get the bike over hear ! But y do you go to different dealers , and they have these two charges r different???

These r just questions and or observations that I wish to share.
This is not an opinion, just an observation!!!

Thank you for your time!

Actually there are some great deals at the December show in downtown, there are fewer dealers compared to January show; those who bring oput bikes to sell price them accordingly - since donnow how many people go there to actually buy a bike, must be a GOOD price.
Last year, there were 3 red/black CBR600's for 8900$.

I bought my '08 at the January 2008 bike show. I knew what I wanted, and got pricing from all Suzuki dealers at the show. I took the low three prices (SoB, SoN, Envy), and played those dealers off each other, until I got what I felt was a great deal, with a dealer that I thought I could trust (SoN and Envy got to the point where I didn't believe either of them, SoB got the sale).

There are good deals in January if you work for them. By July the dealers want to clear floor space for the following year models, so the prices "for last years stock" start to come down.
