Spotted these while driving to/from Hamilton today.

Should really say "Mirrors and Blind Spots", but it's a good start. It would be nice to see some actual ad campaigns about Motorcycle awareness though.

They've been flashing "Watch for motorcycles" messages for years.

Well then, just don't ride in blind spots, and help the Ministry out.

I wish they'd post - Don't sit on a motorcycle's ***! - Hate when cagers are right up to ur rear especially on the hwy. I definitely agree cager's need motorcycle awareness training.

When they ride your ***...I think what they are really asking for is all the change in your pocket.
At least when I throw it back to them at 100 km/hr they seem to go away...just saying.

Sometimes stuff just falls out of your hand...there is little you can do about that.

I read somewhere on the forum that someone uses jelly beans.
Since whos really going to call the cops and and report someone tossing jelly beans at them.

A handful of caltrops sounds like a good idea. Can't ride your *** if they have a flat tire.

I thought about that. But since I'm a considerate person, and if one misses the car, it may chew up another biker's tire.

Ah yeah you're right. Ok, Plan B calls for a handful of rocks. Someone mentioned jelly beans before, but if you're going to do it, I say you may as well do it right.

I would so much prefer if the MTO started a campaign to educate drivers that the left lane is for passing only

Life would be so much less aggravating

Jelly bean thrower here... only ever threw them when I was 2up, easier to launch when you can turn around and not pay attention to what's ahead of you. Buy the cheap, hard ones.

Yep. Ontario really seems the only place i have seen this phenomena !

What happened?
Btw - were you breaking the two ball rule?

Works until the guy behind you gets ****** off and tries to pass you in your lane. I would suggest hand signals, tap brake light, or GTFO approach. This also prevents further deterioration of the biker image.

nope... don't have any :D
I've only had one occasion when the driver got upset and tried to keep up with us while screaming (what I believe to be) profanity inside their closed cage... Usually people know what they did to earn their jelly bean.
