It sounds like a 600cc bike on a 250cc engine!!

Is it just the way honda build the 250 fireblade motor? or is it some sort of special exhaust. I've never heard any motor under 600cc sound like this and i've own both type of bikes.

Also anyone know where I can buy one of these? I used to see them on kijiji but since the new cbr 250 came to market, these are no where to be found. (and i know people usually import them in)
 
Almost all inline 4 cyl bikes sound like that, except the new Yamaha crossplane ones.

The Japanese CBR250 is nothing like the single cyl one we get here in north america
 
It's because it's a 4 cylinder engine. The new CBR250 we get here is a single cylinder.

It sounds like that because those bikes have 4 cylinders. We never got any of those sent to Canada. They are all imported. I have a friend who has an older one, a 1989 CBR250 that was imported here from Japan. Deadly fast. Those bikes are cool because of how high they can rev! Did you notice in the video that bike redlines at 20,000 RPM!!??
 
My old '88 FZR400 sounded like that. Inline 4, 11.5:1 compression, 14k redline. Wooping 60hp, but such a fun bike. Had a kerker exhaust on the '88 which was LOUD and a yosh on the '89.
