The white/blue 2-tone was the 1999 R6 I think

thanks for quick reply Macs.. so iv got a Stock 2000 R6 Left side Fairing with changed lights. ??

I searched 1999 R6 and it they dont match, is there any item number or something that i can look on the piece to match it or find out 100% what it is (i see a bunch of numbers on the back but no idea what they mean?) I
got a quote from 2000 YZF R1000 Left Fairing Piece from Yamaha for 579.29$ and graphics is 109$ but i can't see a picture of it so i don't know if its the same... dont want to pay for it then it gets here and its a different fairing i need.

iv found a few 2000 YZF R1 pieces? maybe this is knock off?

yeah definitely not it.

since this ONE stock piece is 570 and the graphics are 109 total looking at probably around 650.. should I just got with a whole new fairing kit? I see prices online going for like range 300-500$ for all pieces
what are you thoughts on fairings kits?

here is my bike, right side unfortunately

Woops, I just assumed R6 lol.

OEM pieces are always more expensive than aftermarket, but they're also made better (this assuming cheap chinese eBay fairings)

Keep in mind the fairing on the bike Johnny posted is cut for those sliders.

Could you not get someone familiar with plastic welding to just fix your fairing?

What year is your bike? Those are OEM fairings, unless someone changed all of them you should simply buy the year part that the bike is. 99 and 2000 are very similar looking graphics

First picture I posted is a 1999, this one above is 2000

Go with the plastic welding, it may be cheaper. I'm sure people around here knows a well skilled plastic welder.

but does anybody know plastic welder?

i cant just weld it back togeather you would see the crack line and glue line, I don't want to see any lines at all.
so its either i get it welded, sanded, painted and put new graphics on it or just buy a new piece all together.

I know there's a well known member on here who does plastic welding...the name escapes me.
