Installing a yoshimura slip-on questions

Everytime I get the bright idea to add/change something on this bike, I kick myself for not buying something more common. /rant off

I purchased a Yoshi slip-on made for a 650r, the only mod I need is to have a O2 bung welded on. Not sure where to have this done, but thats a problem for the end of this post. My question is about the placement. Would I need to remove the stock exhaust, fit the slip-on, and mark the location where the O2 sensor is, then remove it to have it drilled and welded? Is there a shorter process? Has anyone done a similar install on this bike? Any place I could take it to have the work done?

Any help is appreciated

O2 bung usually goes onto the mid-pipe. Probably a good idea to do exactly what you said. Remove the stock exhaust, put the new mid-pipe on, mark where the O2 sensor will go (those usually have pretty short wires). Any exhaust shop should be able to weld one for you. Toronto Muffler & Brake at 815 Kipling in Etobicoke did a great a job on my car exhaust.

Did just that. Took the stock off and....got the work done @ Snow city cycle to save myself the headache. Two hours labor and that included a fender eliminator install. Price was reasonable, cost me what I saved by buying the exhaust online from the US. Thanks for the advice though ViperZ. If it wasn't still such a new bike, I would have undertaken the challenge.
