I did it! Works with Navigon or Sygic. The iPhone needs to be JAILBROKEN.
Here is the GPX I am using for example https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s...gwUF0SZoymglJ1UXYWMjCmRX46pKJgpqgF18QdNA&dl=1
I will list the instructions to take you from GPX to a route on the iPhone. I use http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/ to make my gpx.
Sygic:
It HAS to be sygic 11. Sygic 12 just deles the route.
1. Go to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input?convert_format=gpx
2. Load your GPX
3. Click on "[+] show advanced options"
4. Reduce the number of points by entering a number in "Max. points per track:" Not sure what works well yet, but remember sygic will have to calculate the route from point to point. You don't want over 50ish points. It's probably better to split the route.
5. Click convert
6. Download the gpx
7. Download ITNConv from http://www.benichou-software.com/
8. Load the GPX in ITNConv and select "Sygic Navigation 11" for "Export file format"
9. Place the itf file in /var/mobile/Applications/Sygic/Library/Backup/sygic/aurares/itinerary
Navigon
1. Go to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input?convert_format=gpx
2. Load your GPX
3. Click on "[+] show advanced options"
4. Reduce the number of points by entering 24 "Max. points per track:" It HAS to be 24 or less. Navigon will ignore all points past point 24.
5. Click convert
6. Download the gpx
7. Download ITNConv from http://www.benichou-software.com/
8. Load the GPX in ITNConv and select "Navigon MN 7, iPhone"
9. Place the route file in /var/mobile/Applications/navigon/Documents/storedRoutes
I did not get a chance to test the apps on a long route so don't shoot me if it doesn't work out.
