How was your season?

Started riding in March, then on June 30th I picked up my new BMW F800 and put 13000kms on it so far in 2.5mth Aiming for 20K by december. Will try to ride it until the snow comes and stays. It would be cool to know what kind of winter we will have.... If we're getting hit with a mild one like the last one, I'd get a dirt bike and ride throughout.

Attaching a quick disconnect for your charger should not be that hard. What makes it require a mechanic trip?

It shouldn't, but the battery on the Monster is underneath the fuel tank

Bike ran great all season and my wirEing i did on the tail section held up in pooring rain to i did somthnig right!
Took my firdt multi-day ride and had a blast on Manitoulin!

Didnt get out as much as i would have liked in the last 2 months as everone at work was on Vac and i had to cover them with OT. Happy with the money but the Kat sat alone in the garage.

Bought a project bike and am excited to rip into it!

How WAS? How about how IS. It's only the middle of September. Another 6 weeks at least, especially if you have an electric vest.

That said it's been great so far. A week long trip into Michigan"s Upper Penninsula along with another weeks run down to Deals Gap. The Yanks sure build (and maintain) great roads.

But the much touted "Bikers Reunion" in New Liskeard was not worth the hype.
