You can effectively ignore "The Politics Paddock" subforum by marking it as "read" and setting the read date far into the future.
Because this is a hack, it only affects the "New posts" link, not the "What's new" link. "What's New" will still show Politics Paddock posts.

You can still go directly to The Politics Paddock from the main forum menu and view all political threads there.
Note: this action cannot be reversed. The date is a high watermark and cannot be reset to a lower date. If you are unsure if you want the subforum ignored forever, choose from the appropriate links below:
Ignore TPP subforum until:
End of this year: December 31st, 2026: https://www.gtamotorcycle.com/xf/forums/the-politics-paddock.69/mark-read?date=1798203518
Basically forever: December 31st, 3000: https://www.gtamotorcycle.com/xf/forums/the-politics-paddock.69/mark-read?date=32533691361
When the next page asks, "Do you want to mark this forum read?", just confirm. It will mark the forum read until the date listed above.
