wear a dry-fit shirt under a mesh jacket its fine.

Cool but your body heat ends up in the cooling reservoir... However I suspect an external radiator can probably be fitted in place of the ice filled cooler. May not be as effective, but will last longer.

I wear a sleeveless shirt and shorts on really hot days. I always wear my perforated gloves and helmet.

wear underarmour compression fit heat gear or VnM or something comparable directly under a mesh jacket.. keep your shirt in your tank bag and change when you arrive. you'd be amazed

Wear what you want. I don't get why squid-nazi's get so defensive when people suggest wearing more protective gear than they use.

The thread is about advice on how to beat the heat while riding. Exposing yourself to the sun's harsh rays, convective heating and dehydration don't sound like good suggestions to me. And that's completely ignoring the protection issue.

I couldn't care less what anyone else wears when they ride (unless they are not adequately protecing an uninformed or underage pillion). But if someone is asking advice about apparel I'm gonna give it. Call me a "nazi" all you want.
