Honda Owners Inside! Fairing question!

I currently have an 07 CBR 600RR, I am wondering if the 09 CBR Fairings will fit my 07 or if any of you have tried. I have my eye set on some fairings that I want to purchase, after doing some research my understanding is that the 09 Fairings do have one additional cover over the motor (apparently this was to encompass the ABS units) but are only attached with a small bracket which can work for the 07, but generally I am wondering if the rest of the kit will fit?

They will fit, but you will need an extra bracket, the 09+ cover more of the engine area.
