HID Delay Relay (30 sec delay timer)

you could take a normal relay (no timer) and feed it from your kick-stand switch.

When you turn on the bike, the computer takes temperature readings, then sets the fuel/air mixture accordingly. Skipping that step the computer uses a default setting, or the last setting used. Your engine would run too lean or too rich, but that's all.

Best bet would be this:

and this used together:

Does not turn bulb 1 on until your voltage settles above 13.5v, then 5 second delay for bulb 2 to come on. A bit expensive but will make it easier on your bikes electrical system.
For an HID installation using a bi-xenon projector, will it require only the voltage sensitive relay, and not the 5-sec delay relay? There doesn't seem to be a tech section on the WireMyBike web site. Any schematics for this application?

A modern EFI ECU will do that in milliseconds. It's pretty standard nowadays for an EFI ECU to recalculate the injection quantity on every revolution of the engine. If it can do that at 14,000 rpm, it can do it at 300 rpm cranking speed.

Skipping that step the computer uses a default setting, or the last setting used. Your engine would run too lean or too rich, but that's all.

The maximum that it would be out of whack for is the first cranking revolution. And that's assuming that the ECU doesn't recalculate the target injection quantity for the first TDC on the first scan of the logic before it even gets a CKP signal, which takes milliseconds at most and probably more like microseconds. It's not an issue.

If using 1 projector you can just use a timed relay or one of the other methods mentioned in this thread.
