Help me out

...Just going and sitting on the bike at a dealership will give you a small idea on how intimidating or not these things are

Wow. THIS is the advice you can expect from a seasoned/experienced rider on an internet forum?

yikes. To the OP; good luck man. Many people have started on something too big and became negative statistics; which does screw it up for the rest of us (I'm 30, and recently bought a new home in the GTA... my insurance cost will probably be the reason I'll have to quit riding soon, because I fit the mold of a "high-risk driver").

BUT there are people who have done exactly what you want to do, and have enjoyed years of safe riding.

remember that you control the throttle not the bike, it all depends on who you are as a rider . Just going and sitting on the bike at a dealership will give you a small idea on how intimidating or not these things are

Good luck

Reading your previous posts and threads, you do seem to be a bit too eager and immature (young), so you might be better to get something smaller to start, but at the end it is always your choice

.
Talk about taking comments out of context

That was a small piece of advice the one you quoted - Many people including me (when i started) sat on a bike and realized how intimidating the riding position was, I almost went with a smaller bike because of it but I am glad I didn't. So I was talking out of experience

You would do well as a journalist these days, you should consider FOX news!
