On face value, sure. Might be able to bargain a couple hundo off, but it may be a great deal. Any other details?

I bought an 03 R6 2 years ago and I love the bike. Paid the same except it only had 11,000 km on it. Id do it again.
Just check it over really good. Or take some one that knows bikes better then you if you feel uncomfortable and don't really know or aren't too sure.
Good luck.

Yeah on paper it looks like an better than average deal....

I'm thinking the dollar store pregnancy test gave a false positive and the pregnancy was a false alarm... Went from needing to sell the bike to being able to keep it!

I haven't heard of any outlandish issues with the 05's other than an issue with the drive sprocket retaining nut and lock washer on some bikes. There was a recall for it if your bikes VIN was on the list. Overall mine has been rock solid except for the fork seals, but the bike had 49xxx km on it when I got it and I have no idea when they were done last, and oil/seals is usually reccomended when buying a used bike anyways :)

Pre 06 Yamaha R6 makes a nicer streetbike than the latest crop of supersports. Somewhat humane seating position, and better midrange.

I'm still REALLY surprised you're still set on getting a 600 cc bike w/o even having your M1 yet and having your cheapest quote of $5100 a year...

I hope that you either have ridden a bike with that kind of power or at least ridden a motorcycle in general before before having your mind set on a purchase.

Deals like this are common, you don't really have to jump on the best deal you see at the time as another one will come along.

weight of a 600, 25% more power :D

But those are 750....

...... Highly doubt you would know the difference if you haven't ridden a bike before....

Lool ye but I never even sat on a bike before I think 600 is more then enough
