Helmets when you're not riding.

Only if I'm paying for gas/convenience store, other wise it looks retarded if you're in a store for more than 5 mins wearing a helmet.

Once I went into a TD bank and never took it off, LOL

Don't make it a habit or else you'll do it walking into your bank...

I remember waiting in line at a timmies once and there was a guy who wore his helmet the whole time (approx 10 mins in line). I did find it rather funny, plus he was going to have to take it off anyways for his coffee.

I do if I'm just going in to use the ATM.

+1 i do this all the time for using the ATM, i just make sure to have my wallet out and visible so they know im withdrawing money not robbing the place lol

Anyone wear their helmets into a store ( for example ) ? It frees up a hand. Do you get weird looks from people?

I do it locally all the time, where i know its a store front and im going to be in and out in 5 mins. At gas stations i do it at the one or two i stick with, so when i go at night after their pre pay time, they know who i am, and let me pump without prepay.

I tried that at ofew of these big malls in GTA, just park and walk inside to the nearest washroom with my helmet on so i can piss without touching my helmet on anything dirty, on my way inside to the washroom people look at me like my DICK is hanging out swinging back and forth, so i wearing my helmet past a feet or two inside the main entrance or just take it off and leave it on my bike.

At malls, take it off, it may seem like your coming in to blow **** up, everywhere else like quick stop store fronts and gas stations no one cares, its a common practice to leave the helmet on.

LOL so truue!!

i actually once did a whole transaction with a bank cleark and didn't want to take my helmet off because i already had taken it on and off 4 -5 times in less then 10 mins prior shopping etc, and this was my last stop before a long ride and the helmet was on perfect, my ear buds were sitting just right, so after several minutes of talking to the bank lady, she said "omg i got scared" i asked her why, and she said " you look so scary with the helmet on" i was like really? but i can see why because i have this bad asss blacked out helmet.lol

she asked if and why i didn't want to take it off, i said, im deaf in one ear and i have my hearing aid hooked up to my helmet, if i take it off, my hearing aid will come off with the helmet, and you will have to communicate with me through sign language......she and all the other ladis because real cool after that, never got bothered or even asked again in that branch.LOL

Wore my old modular helmet at a No Frills while shopping for some groceries a long time ago. Still remember getting quite a few odd looks from people, even though I had the face open.

People understand you're a motorcycle rider, but they still seem to think you're an alien or something wearing a helmet, lol.

That or a Power Ranger, according to local kids. LOL

When someone is on a run, they clearly don't bother taking the helmet off. Either it's a gas station, convenience store or a casino :D

If inside for longer than a minute or two and if 'inside' is somewhere people wear dress shirts and ties, I take it off; otherwise leave it on, or if in doubt pull it 1/2 way off to sport a cone-head look with my face exposed....

This is an issue? The bank is one of the main places I never remove it.

Usually I take it off unless I'm just stopping quickly. I have left it on to run into the post office to mail something once and ended up stuck in line for like 10 minutes and then the cashier or whatever apparently had difficulty understanding that I just needed a stamp so I had a hard time understanding her broken english with ear plugs still in.

I keep mine on when I "pay at pump" for gas. If I am going to have a face to face I take it off. No sense looking for trouble/issues. Plus I rock a mean helmet head hair do and I must show the world !!

My bank hit the panic button on me once, YRP was waiting for me outside, we were all a little confused. Bleeping Richmond Hill lol
