What kind of bike are you planning to buy?

I'm 41 years old. Maybe 5'7 with three kids. I'm mostly going to use the bike for commuting to work. That's when I'm comfortable riding.

I'm thinking of a Rebel or KLX. Although I saw a CBR this weekend. I was like, I like the seat height on that. I'm hoping to buy used looking at 250cc to 300cc. Maybe something fast enough when I take my M test.

I just bought a 2019 KLX250. I'm about 5'6 so I dropped it about 1.5" with a set of kuobalinks. Not too sure how it would be commuting - mine has a 49 tooth rear sprocket so it maxes out about 100kph

perhaps, not all bikes i've ridden have me grinning easily however. and i've never even taken the 300 off the lot yet.

Some definitely induce more grins than others but I’ve yet to ride a bike that I didn’t like for one reason or another
