In Toronto here. $500.00 more but the model was updated in 09 which for me is more pleasing to the eye. Kawi also changed the fuel mapping and cut down on a bit of the vibration (rear rubber engine mount, and rubber mounted handlebar).

Well, I would like to thank everyone for their support and knowledge, I acquired my second bike day before yesterday. Just so busy, didn't get a chance to say it. Its a '11 650 R - 8 k miles

Good stuff - enjoy - hopefully a long riding season into the fall.
Stay in touch and get a Pennsylvania trip in. Lots of us do a couple or three rides a season and well worth it.
