Heading home on the bike today??? some pretty intense pockets of rain.

Been dodging them during the day and managed to stay dry so far but this last one was glad I was not in it.
Came down really hard for 10 minutes....Riding the Vstrom mostly naked but snagged a Madstat so that helps.

Careful out there.

Was really coming down in Kitchener today. Got soaked just getting out of my car and going to my trunk. Was a good day to leave the bike in the garage for sure... though it is the main way I wash it so I probably should have taken it out.

Yeah i thought today is my death day. My bike is slightly hydroplaning with almost zero visibility and trucks passing and spraying like crazy. It felt like the fire department hosing me off the highway. I have ridden through rain but today is crazy

Saw a HD and a Wing on the 407 while I was in my Pilot. Had my wipers on full and visibility was a beeatch. Hope they made it home okay.
Something to note: It looked like the riders on the HD had the same rainsuit as I; black with silver reflective pieces. My next suit will definitely be hi vis. They were blending in with everything else.

Intense rain but only in pockets. One minute you're in, next minute you're out. What are you gonna do? Personally, I hope the rain keeps up, I don't need it coming down.

I had a Madstat with a wide Rifle shield. Incredible, no buffeting ride. Almost too much protection.

nah .....THIS is protection...:D
Last fall heading to BRP I was in 10 degree weather with driving rain and still had my summer mesh gloves on ...( heated grips ).

That said...the Madstat does an amazing job. Scored the brackets in the Barrie and a nice sized Givi screen East Caledon....finishes off the front end nicely. Stock screen too small

So nice to be able to tilt the Madstat....it is THE best farkle evah for touring.
