Good/bad/ or ugly would not even contemplate buying an electic Harley until out and proven a few years , even if had a 10 year warranty not much use if becomes a lemon, like the Bricklin in car sense.

Very bold move for Harley.. maybe they would have been better off under a sub-brand, but there's the offset in brand credibility for the consumer.

I love it. Electric is the future.

I hope it comes to life. 50miles/80km is more than enough for a city slicker. Not enough for a weekend warrior, but the technology will catch up. Need sales from the early adopters to fund R&D!

Dude...you can actually buy other electric bikes right now with ~200 mile ranges.

My last 2 bike purchases the seller rode it home for me, the first because never rode in decades and second just was not comfortable yet but the same day rode pass the buyers
house to wave and say thank-you.
