Gsxr exhaust choices

I have a 08 Gsxr 750 and im trying to find a nice exhaust for it. I (beat) this current one on because the stock one just dident work for me. Sounds alright, way to quiet for my liking.

I'm looking to get the Jardine slip on pipe, just simple pipe that makes it louder. Any thoughts?

Had more close calls with drivers this season alone that, maybe something louder might get their attention.

Because deaf people don't drive.

My advice is change your riding style a bit, the only common factor in your "close calls" is the rider. Or try a louder horn- that would be a lot cheaper if you are just looking to get attention.

It really isn't relevant IMO - I went with a even less noisy exhaust this year (M4 to Yoshimura) and I do not get any closer calls than before. Noise from an exhaust is annoying and I find it easier to concentrate on the road, cars, people and flying chickens when my bike is quieter.

Adapt your riding style .... but you can still buy my M4 :)

I had a Yoshi pipe on mine and it was great. Loud enough to give me some thrill but not enough to annoy the neighbours.
I personally don't care for the Jardine as it's a very gurgled sound... the M4 is just obnoxiously loud.

Spend the extra buck and get the akra brah:
Youtube has some great videos.

M4 is not that loud, only when idiots take the baffle out, I have had one on my 750 and my 1000 and they really have a nice sound.

My buddy took the cat off his 750 and put an M4 on it, with the baffle it was ridiculously loud lol. He is selling it currently and getting a Yoshi

I love my m4 and it's far from obnoxious. Leave the baffle in it and it's quiet when you're being civil and loud when you're having fun.

I have a yoshimura r77d slip on on my L1 gsxr 600 with the cat on. At idle and low rpm it pretty much sounds the same as stock , when i go above 7k rpm it sounds nice but not loud at all. I rode my buddys 750 with jardine exhaust , its just way to loud , u might as well run without an exhaust.
Its annoying loud , not enjoyable loud if that makes any sense

I just have the slip on. Without the cat yeah they get a little loud. I'm happy with mine for now. It's small, looks good and let me eliminate the rear pegs

So I just took the baffle out and didn't notice a whole lot of difference until wot. Little more "grumble" in the lower range but nothing I'd call obnoxious.

I removed the Cat from my Gsx-r1000 and the twin stock bazookas it came with. Installed a Yoshimura r-77 single side exhaust and it sounds beautiful.

Thinking of maybe switching to an m4 or taylormade exhaust and give the shortys a try.

Have not heard the shortys compared to the yoshis and akrapovic exhausts so I have no idea if the sound is significantly louder?

With my current R-77 setup.

Same bike with an M4 on it if you ever want to hear it. Sounds great and looks much better without the exhaust hangers.
