Looks very z1000-like.

I can't wait to see what they do with the GSX-R's for 2015. Hopefully something beautiful and different.

Don't count on too much from the SS class from any manufacturer, sales are 1/3 pre-2008 and they won't be investing much in those bikes. Engines are already too powerful for insurance brackets, so the next stuff is ABS, wheelie and TC. GDI may happen for emissions.

The big sales brackets are <300 and >1000

This GSR is mostly a stripped and de-tuned GSXR1000.

Personally I love the current GSXR1000's engine and frame so this bike will definitely be on my radar. Hopefully they don't low-spec it too much with crap suspension/brakes.

Would be nice if Suzuki could draw from this partnership with Yoshimura. An out-of-the-box 200 HP S1000RR eater:

The specs are online. New cams, higher compression. So the R&D has been done and this bike is available. Would be a good partnership. Let Suzuki provide the bike and let Yoshimura rape it!

As written here, I wouldn't expect much as the GSXR as it exists, still sells way more than any other brand. All that matters in the real world is sales/profit.

I'm not much of a fan of Japanese bikes, but I would definitely rock this if it looks like that. They better build it. The z1000 kawi is another bike I like as well.

Modern day Bandit and where the Bandit should have evolved to.
I hope they don't spec it too high. Raw, in your face power bike, no bell and whistles.
They killed the bandit (and Titan )lines and need to go back much like Yamaha is doing with the FZ line after cheaping it out to death too.
Oooh. Got my self thinking....Suzuki brings back the Titan triple to enter the booming triple market.
