Just wondering, what is the proper etiquette when joining a group ride. when they pass you. Or is it even allowed.
They caught me on the lights. so i decided to let them go by, then tag along at the back.

I hear some people say they challenge the pack leader to a wheelie contest or a dance off.

lol. Sometimes I tuck in behind a group but I'll leave extra space out of courtesy to the sweeper.

Sometimes I drop into that gap between the fast riders and the rest of the group.
then I slow down and indicate a different direction to break off and the remainder of the group sometimes follow because the lost sight of their lead group.
Ride for a bit to Tim's have a drink and just relax as they look around asking WTF :) It makes me feel good knowing I saved lives and also prevented others from getting charged with Bill 172.
