I dunno. At a certain point there is just too much time doing nothing but tucking and stretching the throttle cable. I recently watched a video of some street 250s racing on the new F1 track in India (Buddh International). On those bikes the straight takes 30 s.

I put my DR-Z400SM up against a FZR250RR at GBM on modified track once. We had enough time to have a conversation going down the back straight. It was a riot.

Still had loads of fun not having to brake for the carousel and passing the big bikes in the infield.
