Great spot for "destination lunch"

Thanks for the info! Always nice to enjoy some good grub on your ride. Definitely going to have to check this place out!

If you ever find your self doing a Niagara run...

Always rammed in the evening, best to be taken in during the day.

Rated #1 restarant on Urbanspoon and they will also be featured on The Food Networks "You gotta eat here!" television show which is supposed to air in August some time.

Ah cool - that Memphis Fire looks good and nice part of a Ridge Road run - thanks

I tend to stop at Keith's in Fonthill.

reviews are about correct but food is decent and not over priced.

Pie is top rated.''•••

Same goes for the Ice House in Campbellville - decent food - great pie.

I've heard REALLY good things about this place as well! Everytime I ride to Niagara I always forget about it and end up getting something on the strip.

Memphis Fire BBQ is an amazing place to eat. Try the pulled pork! Sometimes when riding solo, i'll do a Ridge rd run to Fonthill, then stop there for lunch on the way back, provides a nice view of the escarpment too.

I think I'll do that today actually!

Wonder if they are open tonight - kid had to work and that would be a good destination ride.
Ridge for a bit then a good feed. Google to the rescue.

If you want ribs or fried chicken you have to call to reserve. I've had nothing but good food every time I go, no matter what I have.

Our famous fried chicken is available Monday thru Wednesday, from 5pm. and our fabulous ribs are available Thursday thru Sunday from 5pm. Email us to reserve your chicken and ribs! Don't be disappointed! Limited daily quantities - subject to availability.
Reservations for ribs must be made by 11am Thursday through Sunday
Reservations for fried chicken must be made by 3:00pm Monday through Wednesday

We went tonight and enjoyed the meal tho a good chunk came home in a box - mind you kid polished his ribs off right quick.
I should have opted for the pulled pork instead of brisket - brisket was tasty but sauce not so much to my liking - the mustard spread tho made up for it .
Fries were top notch ( stole some from kid ) mashed and gravy I had was scraped clean - greens were a bit salty cuz of the bacon.

I'd go back tho and maybe get a pulled pork sandwich or a burger and have the fries.
Nice atmosphere outside and great staff. Good spot for a Ridge Road run.

Are the ribs beef or pork? And how many ribs do you get for how much? I've only ever had the sandwiches there.

Not sure but they are not baby back ribs which I prefer.
Kid made them disappear right quick.
Ribs are not on the menu - you have to ask so can't really find out any info.

We were still munching tonight on the brisket we brought home. Tasty cold too.

I would like to try their burger and pulled pork sandwich.
I suspect a split of a sandwich and fries would serve a pair of light eaters.

+1 for Memphis Fire BBQ. A friend and I went down there yesterday evening for the brisket and it was fantastic. The Ranch fries were great too.

Y'all gotta try Ted's Range Road Diner near Meaford, ON. Great food, sometimes live music, weird location, but definitely ride-worthy.

The fries were awesome and the ride down was great. ;)

If anyone does down to this little spot for the BBQ, ya better go hungry. The portion size was huge.

Memphis BBQ is pretty good, only about 15 minutes from my house so we have eaten there a couple of times, but it is sometimes difficult to get into for seating. I guess this is a testament to their service/product.

If you can make a run over the border, there is a place called Smokey Bones across from the Walden Galleria Mall outside Buffalo

Great food reasonable prices. It is a chain from Florida, and not too many up north great BBQ and easier to get into then Memphis BBQ.

We also found a place called Texas Roadhouse on our trip to Florida recently, apparently they have a site in Tonawanda that the wife and I may check out. They have her new favourite food, loaded sweet potatoes.... slow baked sweet potatoe, 2 hours plus, topped with caramel and marshmallows, it is a desert dinner, very rich, but a southern specialty
a great and again reasonably priced steakhouse. We ate there twice in our 2 week vacation, Dnner for 4 was under $75.00

Thanks for those two sites. Since you brought up Buffalo, I suggest trying a place called Schwabl's. They have a Roast Beef on Weck sandwich that is to die for.
