I have a 2001 Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird, which I have insured with TD for the past 5 years, of which the annual rates have increased about $200-$250 per year and was going to be just shy of $1,800 this year!! Perfect driving record, motorcycle insurance with no claims for over 40 years.
Called Dalton Timmis and got a great rate with Aviva, $1,017.00!!! Now that is a huge savings....I did drop the collision that saved an extra $200, however it is harder all the time to find fair rates on these types of bikes....drives me crazy as I am an old, experienced rider.
For what it's worth you may want to try Dalton Timmis!!

That's pretty good. I got a rate of just under $1,300 a year for a brand new fz-09 with full coverage. I've been using these brokers for years now.

Watch out for next year ... They seem to give a healthy discount for new business and then kaching

I got a quote of around $930/year for the wife and I on a brand new FZ-09 with "full coverage" and 2 million liability. I'm with "the Personal".

The renters insurance was added after that quote was given. So you think it's the 2 cars?
More then likely. No one wants to pair my car with my bike unless it's for more then what I'm playing currently.

I also live in Mississauga which is a $$$ factor

The cars were a great rate too. Cheaper than what TD MM was offering by a fair amount. When I moved from "Economical" to "the Personal", I also saved on the cars. I found after adding the renters insurance, it pretty much made the renters insurance free as the discount I got by combining was almost 1:1 the additional cost of the renters insurance with Economical.

I did the switch to Aviva with Dalton Timmis around April 2015 - switched away from State Farm. I switched everything over - house, cars, bikes. They were better than State Farm rates across the board. I took full coverage off one bike that is a few years old and went back to basic liability but added an entire new bike to the policy with full coverage, and the bottom line was still less than before.

Then it is time to start shopping again, you still had the savings for that entire year that in my case is 1500 for my car and bike for switching from State Farm. Worth the extra effort.

BTW, got paperwork for another year of coverage. Rate went down on everything, bike, cars, house.
