Got my first bike

nice first bike, best advice I can give is a beginners course. Forces you to go through the paces. RTI was my choice, was good.

Also don't waste money on "upgrades", other than a new lever that looks bent to me...

Buy a copy of "Twist of the Wrist II" and read it cover to cover..twice. You'd be surprised how much you don't know.

Stay safe and watch out for cagers!

+1

If you haven't ridden before, it's a really good way to get 'aquatinted' with motorcycling.

A past co-worker took a course and he said that it really helped him with driving to survive in the road.

You need to learn how to survive on the road.

Enroll in the course, as a person who took the course, you will learn so much more than you would've through a friend. Its not all about switching through the gears and keeping balanced, there is so much more.
