Goose Attack, Now we have Geese to Worry about

A lot of misconceptions in this thread. This was a freak accident, it could happen to anyone. It's impossible to dodge a bird, goose, etc. you can try your best but if it's your day to hit something you will. Proper gear could have made it a tad better but it's a goose for goodness sake and not a sparrow LOL. Next, someone on here will say that if you hit a moose with proper gear you'll be good to go. For those who think they are superhuman riders C'mon.

I just reread my post. I wrote bird. But I am almost sure that it was a mid-sized female wild turkey. But I have also been hit in the leg by something (racoon/skunk), that the truck that I was passing, just ran over. Last fall, I sort of hit a fair sized racoon but I was only doing about 60kmph and was able to dodge him/her enough to just clip it's tush with my front rotor/tire.
