Good news and bad news on ticket.

So I had a bogus careless driving ticket in which a motorcycle hating officer pulled me over and swearing his head off about how many bikes he has already impounded and was letting me off easy with a careless ticket.

The good news is I got a letter in the mail saying:

The offense notice is not on file with our office for the following reason and therefore your request for trial is not required: The offence notice was not filed with our office.

The bad news, I already paid OTT legal to fight it for me.

But in the end it is quite a relief to not have the outcome hanging over my head anymore.

I wish it happened more often. Did get lucky back on the first PD13, got two tickets for no insurance card (wasn't on me) and expired validation sticker. Paid the tickets online and got a response that they weren't filed so the money would be refunded. Sweet!!!

There was a transport in the slow lane at the on ramp beside me and I accelerated under a bridge so it sounded fast to get on in front of him and he was on the other side of the truck.
Pulled me over a kilometer later and said he was following me for 5 mins with me swerving through traffic and said a plane had me on radar (Which I just laughed about).
Swearing about how much he hates bikers and how he impounded 5 bikes already that week and how I should sell my bike and buy a car because I am stupid for owning a crotchrocket, then proceeded to ask how fast I have had my bike because his buddies got theirs up to 290km/hr. lol

He was a dick til he realized I wasn't stupid and going to give up information (To fill in the blanks on his story) and tried to play the good guy and give me a bogus blanket charge since he knew there was nothing specific he could charge me with.

do you also have a after market pipe?

Good stuff on having the ticket not being filed. .. so I guess if you get a ticket, its up to the cop to "file it" too?

Yeah, I have a Devil Exhaust, So it isn't the quitest.

I just talked to my lawyer and they said they have up to 6 months to summon me and re-submit it, But they said that rarely happens.
