Other than the 50$ gas card idea, the only thing I could think of is a tank pad.
That or reflective tape to put it on their jackets/helmets.

I suggest a pair of 100% WOOL sweaters. You can get very fine sweaters at Goodwill or Value Village etc.
You may find better looking sweaters, but I have ridden many many miles wearing wool in comfort, and almost as many wearing acrylic or cotton or other fabrics while shivering and occasionally whimpering.
Don't discount this advice because I am in Florida now. I have ridden through dozens of Ontario winters, and more recently through lots of 3ºC Florida mornings, and wool has often been the key to comfort.
It doesn't have to be Virgin Wool.
And as you know, sheep LIE!

Does nobody have a clock as part of the dash?
If you have to get something that each of you can use than it kind of sucks. If you can get something for just the bike than you can get lube, oil, filters, plugs, windscreen(just over 50), tire patch kit, replacement visor, gloves if you can find them on sale etc...
