Good bike cover for someone without a garage?

For those of you who don't own a garage or car port, what motorcycle cover would you recommend? I am looking for one that is waterproof. Not a cheap piece of crap, but looking to see if I can avoid shelling of the dough for a Dowco Guardian All Season @ $125.

Is the Dowco really worth the money? I found this Nelson-Rigg cover (http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/nelson-rigg-deluxe-all-season-cover.html) for much cheaper and it seems to get great reviews.

Any advice or opinions?

It will be used to cover a 2008 Ninja 500R, which I would really like to keep in nice condition.

I have a Tourmaster cover I used for my 500R and it lasted me fine and packed up small for travel. Still using it now actually but it's a little small for my current bike and I'm getting a Givi cover for $44 from A Vicious Cycle.

Just a heads up, I used/seen both $50 covers and $200 covers, both seem to fade, crack and wear out. Althought the expensive one lasted me an extra year it wasnt worth the extra coin. I'd sooner keep replacing my cheapies then shell out for a premium name.

I second princess auto.
