Many have never heard of him, first man to be clocked at over 250 mph in an automobile and on a motorcycle. Holder of over 60 land speed records, huge mentor and inspiration to many LSR competitors. He passed peacefully from cancer on Oct. 29th, in Florida at 80 y.o. Rest in Peace racer.
