Giving up riding!

I've had it with motorcycles.

Between the expensive maintenance, the gas prices, and insurance gouging, I can't handle it anymore.

Been thinking about it for a long time, and this just isn't fun anymore. Who ever decided that riding motorcycles was a safe, fun hobby? I've had to dodge so many idiot cagers lately, and man those twisties scare the hell out of me. I hate leaning into turns!

Selling the V-Strom... I'm thinking about getting a cage... or maybe even an e-bike so I can avoid the stupid insurance rates. Anything but a motorcycle.

Ugh.

Don't let the door hit your rear on the way out.

Sorry to hear:( Maybe retire it till you can afford to only ride for fun. Having to commute in the city can be a downer.

Happy April fools to you too. I liked Dave's better.

Lol. Yes, his was pretty convincing til I realized it was past midnight. :P

That's the best part of my day, dodging cabs, street car tracks, cops and soccer moms to work. Then can't wait for the ride home less the sitting in traffic.

When I was at deals gap last year, I saw a guy at my hotel on a Kawi concourse, with no leg!!! He had the worlds biggest frame slider, and a crazy cane. I was impressed. So even loosing a leg is no excuse!

How about losing an arm and a leg and still racing!

No wonder the guy in the video is fast, since he is about 25% lighter than the other riders. Also he gets a better lean angle on those right-handers.
