Changing tires tomorrow....my son will ride the Strom to work on city streets as deep into the season he can ( 10 km or so each way. ).
He's experienced both street and off road and has done this before.
My current Pilot 3 rear has a leak.
Eventually I will put K60 scouts on ( they are arriving tomorrow ).
BUT
I scored a nearly new Pilot 3 for cheap.
I'm thinking the Pilot 3s might actually be better for the low temperature pavement.
He won't ride in snow tho maybe a occasional wet day that used to be snow ( he goes in late so light snow will be turned to wet. )
I just think the Pilot 3 tread might be "stickier" in those conditions than the harder Scouts.
Thoughts???
