I have to fly to Ottawa tomorrow, so checking out parking options at the Toronto Island Airport. It's FREE for bikes in the secure lot on the island! The following recent article from Canadian Biker explains:

Interesting! I've been taking flying lessons there for a while and always wondered about the few (maybe 3 at most) bikes under the ferry terminal by the bicycle racks. I've always caged down and tried to find street parking on the few steets to the west. Thanks for the info now I'll probably ride down.

i have ridden to catch flights from the island airport a number of times. one of the great things is returning home and getting on your bike. and the ferry lets you go to the front so you are first off the boat and on your way. sure beats taking a cab.
