If given the raw material, whats the cost range of building frames for labour per hour? Is it possible to build supersport/superbike copies? Is it legal? This is just for research so excuse me if the question sounds ridiculous.

No idea on cost, but regarding legality, the difficulty that you will encounter is the VIN.

Not exactly sure what type of frame you are looking for but there was a guy on here that used to do tubular frames, mostly for vintage and classic racing. Mostly Seeley/Spondon type frames.

He also did a nice tubular frame for a street fighter that was the Bike Show in January last year. Try to PM Delboy if he is still on here, he can at least give you an idea of cost. He is local to Toronto

Denis Curtis in Belleville also builds Kickass frames.

As Brian mentioned check out the legalities of obtaining a VIN.
