I've know I've become one of those geezers that complain about how things were better in the old days, but the Duc SBKs have gradually moved away from everything I've loved about the original 916.

Wet clutch? C'mon!
Ditching the undertail exhaust? Dick move.
No trellis frame? dafuxgoinon?

V4? That's a bridge too far for me.

I was a huge fan of the 916. It and the Monster were what drew me away from a love of cruisers as a teenager. I love the look of this new undertail exhaust but it needs to come with a new belly pan so it doesn't have the outlets for the original exhaust.

Yeah, would have been nice if they routed all four exhaust outlets under the tail.

But the undertail/underbody exhaust combo is how the current Panis do it in WSBK, so there's gotta be a technical reason for it. Optimizing header length or something.
