Fan of stickers? or no stickers?

So AGIP is an oil brand, I think. Aprilia is obviously the make. Lotus makes cars but I don't think that's what this Lotus is. Dunno what Spain's No. 1 or Fuera mean.

This pic has also made me realize my bike is in bad need of a polish because this thing looks way nicer than mine.

Never been a fan of stickers/decals (or tattoos) - always liked the clean look. If something (or somebody) is in nice shape, has clean lines, a nice paint job and looks attractive, why screw up the visuals, by plastering extraneous crap all over it. On the other hand - if it's ugly, lumpy and in poor shape - why not - it's not like you're gonna' make it look much worse.

Because if there are 10 bikes (or strippers) in a row...it's nice if one has a personal touch to add character and make it (her) stand out ;)
 
Race Bike has Dunlop stickers in order to get contigency money from Dunlop

Street bike has 1 SOAR sticker as a promotional thank you to the org I race for.

That is it, no free advertisement like others said.

Wish I could take the Yamaha out of my bike :)
 
I heard they add horsepower...can anyone confirm this?
 
Long time ago a GF had one made for my car, it said "If I am driving straight, please wake me up" a few cops gave me the thumbs up while driving by laughing
 
before my trip down to the dragon a few weeks ago, my buddy got us all canadian flag stickers for our bikes. i put mine on the swingarm, and added the dragon sticker as well. not much plan outside of that tho
 
I had a few custom stickers for the places I visited. Cabot trail, West Virginia. Guy at a light asked me if that truly was cabot trail, lol


I need to add a few more

Really depends. If you earned them (sponsorship or world travelling) they're cool. If it's brands you have no affiliation with, they are cheap, tacky and you're being a poser.

Agree 110%, if you do something noteworthy by all means celebrate with a sticker and/or tattoo. In the same vein I'm old enough to remember people walking around with out any sort of branding displayed up to and including sports figures. And then everybody went out and bought a Beaver Canoe sweatshirt. It's been a race to the gutter ever since. People should be classier yo.
 
I agree with the earned part. I put stickers from my rides on my hard cases, even if it's just a few hundred KM to a chip wagon. I know it looks cheeseball, but that's kind of the intent. Plus it's a badge for having spent a couple of hours in the sun/rain and a sore @$$...

I collect stickers but only if I get them for free. Keep planning to put them on something but have no idea what. Like a roof box or something.

Strangely, I get disappointed if I accidentally throw one out even though I don't do anything with them thus far, lol.

Filing cabinet. Happily festooned and emblazoned top to bottom on exposed side.
