Yes people do knock down bikes and leave them for dead in the street http://esr.cc/16ahrV9. When I went for lunch, she was up. When I came back, she was down.
And people ding/dent and even crash into cars everyday. It's the cost of free parking. It sucks but there is nothing you can do.
Go ask for the site guy in charge and get the info, send them the bill. They will either pay it or wont, free to try.Ya, it was my bike.. Luckily my frame slider took the hit. My right signal is damaged, some paint scratches and my right handle bar is a bit bent. I got a feeling is the film crews, because when I park , there were no pylons and they probably was trying to move my bike to take that spot.
YES! Because my current world is in the 416. Drivers kill pedestrians, you really think they give a damn about your bike? Some guy trying to do a u-turn in a delivery truck clips your bike, do you think he will stop. Sit on the corner and let us know if they come back because they feel bad for you. I guess you can bubble wrap your bike. You park your bike on the street for hours on end in a congested area with construction and you think nothing will ever happen to your bike. Then ppl like that would be a fool. There was a thread a few days ago about a bikes being knocked down by a cyclist. Now what?So in your world that's NORMAL? Sucks to be you!

GTA is now a mega city. Go to any large city, anywhere and vehicles get abused like this daily. For people who live in Paris, Rome, NY, vehicles are appliances.
If you don't want a dented and scratched bike, take the TTC, or park at $20 a day underground. That's reality.
I used to live in San Francisco. Cars there get bumped every time someone else parks because there is no parking space. Is that normal? NO, it's not normal. If I catch someone bumping my bike or a car like that, they will pay for the damages. I don't give a crap about what those people think - they should still respect someone else's property.

Yup pretty much every car that I saw in NY had one of these on it. The only ones that didn't where already beat to ****.
