Are you trying to make more power or more loud? Both make loud, only full exhaust might make power.
 
Pay attention to noise bylaws where you want to ride prior to spending money. Many municipalities are starting to crack down. Caledon is a good sample to look at.
 
It's going to burn more fuel, that won't be cheaper,
click on features, under engine feature how many are you messing with?
