Buell has partnered up with the CEO of Sauber Motorsport Frédéric Vasseur and formed a new company called Fuell, that will be making electric motorcycles and bicycles.

The Fuell Flow looks like it has Buell influence alright. It has a hub motor and is in the ballpark of $11K USD... on paper anyway.

But....why?

Makes good sense to me.

1) Eric Buell will never not be designing motorcycles
2) Electrics are way simpler to engineer than ICE (either way they are sourcing stuff from someone else, sure)
3) Electric motorcycles are still not very competitive, so segment is more tolerant of newcomers - nobody has hit one out of the park yet
