Engine Case Covers / Guards.

I plan to take my bike to the track a few times this year, i'm not the most skilled rider but you need to learn on a track to work on skills.

I've ordered woodcraft frame sliders already, but was going to order GB racing engine covers, I noticed leo vince makes some carbon covers for my bike also. As far as I see these are the only covers available for my bike, so it is really up to these two. Will the carbon fiber ones protect at all, or should I just get the GB racing ones?

I have the GB racing covers. Haven't put them to the test yet! Got em on a crazy deal from Tony at Bluestreak Racing!!! Nice thing about them is you don't need any gaskets, no mess, easy install, etc.

And I've seen what happens to carbon fiber (can't remember her name) when it's crashed, I would avoid those.

woodcraft is the defacto standard for race/track bike protection.

Those CF covers look quite blingy, from casual observation, I doubt they would provide much protection in a crash.
