Dyno questions.

Hello fellow riders,
I have invested into a full system exhaust and pc v. Dyno is recommended for the full system to smooth out throttle response and air and fuel mixture.
What else should I look for after the dyno?
Thanks

I'd install everything you plan on adding (ie. Velocity stacks, race filter, cams, etc) before your dyno run, or else you'll likely have to run it again after you've added everything else. If you plan on adding nothing else you should be fine to just ride. Also, looking into an PC Autotune unit if you'll be riding in varying climates and altitudes.

Cheers!

I'll have bmc air filter installed also. I'm not gonna be racing it and I dont want to do anymore major work on it. I can feel the bike is running rich due to full system exhaust and this is why I'm getting it dynoed and have pcv installled.

Get rid of the BMC filter,

Specifically on your bike, it has been dyno proven to make less power and offer less filtration than an OEM filter, so you pay more money for losses in 2 areas

Thanks for your input. I just heard similar stuff from other people.

I am not expecting large hp/torque gain. I understand the hp/torque gain will be decent. I am looking for smooth power, responsive throttle etc. what is the other purpose of the dyno besides the already mentioned things.

Sir, like I mentioned after installing the full system exhaust the bike running lean and there is a lag in power.

Have you tried loading a map off the dynojet website that might be suitable for your exhaust/bike?

I haven't even installed the pc v, i know its pretty easy and stuff but i can't bother myself to get to lower injectors.

Get it installed, if you can't do it yourself have somebody do it for you. Download a map that suits your exhaust and see how your bike feels after that. If you still feel like it's not as smooth as it should be then get it dyno'd...

BTW, what kind of bike and what kind of exhaust? (just out of curiosity)
