Ducati Day Ride

ah.... have you tried the Ducati Owners Club of Canada forum?
http://www.docc.ca/phpBB3/
Either the General Interest or Central Region sections.

Ken Livingston of GPBikes use to do weekly rides.

can't seem to find anything on 2012 demo days on DOCC.
might try and call GP Bikes directly.

i've been toying with the idea of a Ducati, but hard to decide since never rode one. something about the way the tank is a nut-cruncher just sitting on the bike in the show room, not to mention riding and under braking. other then that really digging the 848 and 1098's. :p

They should post the dates and locations for Demo rides on the Ducati Canada web site once everything is firmed up.

If you find the seating position too aggressive on the Superbikes maybe try an older model, like a 900 SS, nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

Thanks for the link, looking forward to going for a test ride.
It's not that it's too aggressive (I've rode ZX6R's, R6's, GSXR 600's and 1000's), it's that nut-cruncher thing they have going on.

It's really not that bad. It's amazing the way your knees tuck behind the fairing and the shape of the tank is moulded perfectly for your arms to rest underneath. I'm 6'1 and it just perfect. I had my doubts too. The1098 is an amazing machine. I read that the 1199 is even better.

GP has the Panigale demo coming in the weekend of April 26th, available to test ride the following Monday.
