The danger with commissioning a custom motorcycle is that you end up with something so unique, or expensive, that it’s not viable to sell it in the future. Of course, this is only a problem if you actually plan to let the bike go... which the owner of this outrageous Honda CBX1000 never will...

Agree 100%, cbx1000 is one of the few bikes I wouldn't touch except for maintainance.

They did point out it had already been modified by the PO before they got their hands on it and considering the work put into it I can't be mad about it lol.

Really is a work of art imo, can't even begin to guess how much money and manhours went into the build.

Yeah, but then it wouldn't have that cool floating wheels look from the right side. I think the look was more of a priority to them.
