Downtown bikers

Hey

So i was downtown last night at Young and Dundas, There was a crew a bikers riding and just waiting at the lights, just revving there bikes and bouncing on rev-limiter.

I just wanted to know why?

I feel like this gives sports bikes a bad image and ruins the image of the bike for people.

Cheers

every creature in the animal kingdom has their own separate way of attracting females. birds chirp, lions roar, moose have matting calls etc ...

this is the sport biker method.

Small wieners.

Real smart for them to be revving the bikes up to redline without any load on the engine... great way to do some damage, lol...

that does make the rest of us look like dopes...

Whenever I hear straight pipes on custom choppers in Yorkville, I think it's time to settle down and have a family because the alternative looks pretty bleak.

Then again, I shouldn't be a brat and burn bridges, some of those guys probably have hot granddaughters in their 20's. :P

All in good fun..

I rev my bike because I like the sound it makes. Don't think it has ever hit the limiter...Sometimes when your in a group its just fun. Don't know why its fun, doesn't make any sense, but still loads of fun. Hell I have rev'd my bike, and bikes 2 cars up rev there's...I don't see a problem, not like someone hopped on your bike and rev'd the **** out of it. I would never do it to attract women, because I would assume it would have the opposite effect.

Just fun.

We already have a bad image to anyone who doesn't own a bike anyway, and to a lot who do...so what are you trying to protect? You own a SS, you like power and speed...deal.

It's not exactly to attract females, guess. Following some ethology observations, the young baboons are gathering in groups and start produce as much noise as possible to show, that they are Big and powerful.

They paid for the bikes so why is everyone so concerned about what they do with them? Just because you own a bike doesnt mean u belong to some super duper cool brotherhood and everyone needs to act in a certain way. Majority of sport bike owners are ****** bags...deal with it or sell your bike.
